Details: Does anyone know where i can get a 20mm measurement Black sclera lense? i've looked at all the major sites, and they only seem to come in 22mm measurement, which is too big for my eye. I had to send mine back, because they did not fit. They kept buckling when i tried to close my eye. I really need the 20MM fit.

Inserting Scleral lenses by Guest

Details: I hope the person who asked how to insert them such a long time ago comes back to check!
Fill the lens with sterile saline.
Hold the lens between thumb and a finger
Bring your head forward parallel to the floor and look down towards your chest as far as possible.
Keep the lens level, pull up the upper eyelid with the index finger of the hand not holding the contact lens.
Slide the edge of the lens under the upper eyelid, whilst still looking downwards.
When the upper edge of the lens is in place, under the upper lid, you should look slowly upwards, still supporting the lens, and pull the lower lid out from under the bottom rim of the lens, using a tissue to dry the lid if it is slippery. |
