They sell defective lenses and do not take a full responsibility for having sold such contaminated products instead blame on you saying my eyes are not suitable for those particular lenses. Once you take out lenses from the packaging this big cloudy circle starts appearing. I returned unopened boxes and one of the boxes perforated on its way back to them and was no longer qualified for a full refund because it is no longer "sellable". They intends to sell these defective products to future innocent customers. Watch out for these hazardous products. Handling fee was not refundable. Customer service was not great. I purchased contact lenses from Coastal Contacts in 2009 because with the mail-in rebate they offered it was the best deal (without, it was not). I sent in the mail-in rebate along with all of the appropriate documentation (which is setup such that you can't send it again if it is 'lost' or 'not received'). I never received the rebate.

Where are the rebate checks? Both times I have ordered I have sent in a rebate form to Coastal Contacts for a rebate check and I have never got a rebate check in return.. Is it a trick? Is coastal con. a bunch of cons keeping my money?

Customer service reps were deceptive and not very helpfull at all. Order status is NEVER available on the web site and delivery time or shipping status was not what it was said to be.

I order 6 boxes of contacts from ClearlyContacts (CoastalContacts). I was supposed to receive them within a week or so. Waited 2 week before contacting them (I had receive no emails/calls from them) They reply by email saying that the product was discontinued. I asked them to refund me. They reply that they would. I'm still waiting for the refund. These guys are BOZZOS ! Do NOT buy from them. First of all, they should NOT sell stuff they don't have!!! Second, they should let you know what is going on with your order. Their order tracking system is a joke. NOT working at all !!! People like them make Internet Commerce look bad !!

I ordered Acuvue and Biomedics contacts from these guys, and it took over a month to get either type. During that month of waiting, I called four times and each time I was assured that the contacts were being shipped that day (I suppose so I would wait instead of buying them someplace else)....Both types of contacts were listed as "in stock" when I ordered them, so I'm not sure what happened. These guys seem very disorganized.

GOING ON TRIP TO FLORIDA AND WANTED NEW COLOR CONTACTS. THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL. LOOKED ONLINE FOR VIBRANT COLORS BECAUSE MY EYES ARE BROWN AND WANTED SOMETHING TO REALLY CHANGE THEM. ORDERED ONLINE CLEARLY COLORS BRAND AND PROMPTLY SEND A SCRIPT. NEVER RECIEVED A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL SO I CALLED ABOUT A WEEK LATER WHEN I DID NOT RECIEVE MY CONTACTS. WAS TOLD THAT THE SCRIPT DID NOT MATCH THE PRODUCT I WANTED SO I GOT ANOTHER AND FAXED IT OUT THAT DAY. NEVER RECIEVED A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL EVEN THOUGH I HAD CONFIRMATION FROM MY FAX MACHINE THAT THE SCRIPT WENT THROUGH. CALLED 7 DAYS LATER AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY DID NOT RECIEVE THE SCRIPT. WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE CONTACTS WOULD BE TO ME BY THE TIME I WAS TO LEAVE ON MY TRIP IN 3 DAYS. ASKED IF THEY COULD BE SENT OUT FED-EX OR OVERNITE AND WAS TOLD THAT IT COULD NOT BE GUARANTEED. ASKED FOR A REFUND. WILL NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. HOW CAN YOU BE SURE YOU WILL EVER RECIEVE YOUR ORDER? NO CONFIRMATION, LONG WAIT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED.

They duplicated my order, after a month of them sending me past due threating letters, I had to pay an additional $141 for a 2nd order that I did not place. All they could say is that is was delivered ... I finally found it under a bench on my front porch. I did not need that many boxes of lenses, but their customer service is so poor, I paid it anyway so that they don't turn it over to collections and ruin my credit score. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

It has been 5 weeks and they simply did not call or email me about the status of my order... when I called them I was rudely welcomed by a phone rep that seemed less interested in helping me and more interested in getting off teh phone. She kept placing me on hold (about 3 different times in a 5 min call) and then finally advised me to call back Monday 9-5 when a more knowlegable staff was on duty... I canceled my order on the spot and will NEVER order from a company based in CANADA...

I live in Canada and ordered my contact lenses yesterday. I paid for what I thought was regular shipping and my contacts arrived via FedEx today. Apparently they are sending all Canadian orders by FedEx as a bonus. I also love their service. The people who work for that company are so helpful and chearful. I always order from Coastal Contacts :)

I kno many friends that had bought from coastal. So I orderd contacts for tha very first time I didn't get an order conformation til a week after I ordered, an when I emailed them. Then in tha order confirmation email it said I'd get tracking an ship date on tha 20th (of may). Yesterday (26th of may) I emailed the girl who emailed me back on the 17th an told her they're late an to give me my order or my money back now!! She emaild me promptly an told me they shipped the 24th an gave me a tracking number. WTF?! Why should I have to keep tabs on my order? When It should be an effortless process after I order! Especially since the emails clearly tell me what will be happening, an on which days. I don't have a choice of where to order my contacts due to location (and I want my moneys worth). In any case I received my lenses on tha 27th- about a week and a half after the fact- and they are lucky the customer service was reliable or they mightve had a lower score!

The last couple of orders have had a couple contact lenses with a slight tear in the center of the contact upon opening it. I make sure I look closely at it in the package before I remove it because this has happened to me a number of times now.

One of the products I ordered was out of stock, but I was only informed about this after contacting Coastal Contacts after 10 days of waiting on my order (which should have been delivered within 4-5 days). However, the problem was resolved by shipped part of the order straight away, and the rest of the order when it was in stock again. Have now received all orders, and are extremely satisfied with the products, Thanks.
