Details: I wore acuvues (regular 2 weesks); then I changed to Accuvue advanced, which were surprisingly not as comfortable. After trying the optix 2, I noticed an immediate difference; they were very comfortable. I'm hooked.

Cons: Price, limited base curve and diameter choices. Takes a transition period to get used to them.
Details: At first when I wore these lenses I wasn't very happy with them. My eyes seemed dryer then when I wore the Accuvue 2's (which I've wore for the last 2 years) but after about 2 weeks I started to like them. They last longer than the Accuvues did. If I forgot to take them out and slept with them, my eyes weren't as bad feeling (dry, scratchy) the next day. I spoke with my opthamologist about this, and he expained that your eyes need a few weeks to get used to the new contact. They are silicon, unlike the accuvue's. Give them A try, don't be discouraged after a couple of days. My eyes seem to adjust very well. I can usually push them for 4 (four) weeks :)

Details: I just tried them for the first time after wearing the old type of soft lenses for years. I like the fact that I can just pop them out and put a few drops on them and be done! Too bad I have a closet full of cleaners, enzyme tablets, etc. I was told they were 4 week wear, but I see they are really 2. I find them very comfortable.
